Wow what a year for The Winkles in 2025. I released the First Edition and we sold 6 copies. Not bad for not knowing what I was doing as producing, illustrating, writing, formatting, editing and then having it printed by the wonderful Mixam. It was a good first run and sadly it was really awful.

Yes, awful. It was worldly and had very little value regarding mentioning God or the hope that God gives this world so in an essence it failed – miserably.

It’s 2026 and I’ve made a completely new version that still contains muscle guys, but now it has a goat, a sheep, a pig and a dog. The puzzles are still included and the storyline is completely revamped. Before it had a trite “It’s okay to be You” – like yeah – I’m sure people really connected with that statement – given the state of this current society but NOW the statement is “LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF” because that’s REALLY what this world needs to learn to do. What does that mean? It means to be thoughtful, kind-hearted, willing to listen and eager to help out strangers no matter who they are or what they believe or what color their skin, hair or the number of tattoos they have. It means to care about one another unconditional but that’s impossible in a world where conditions is the prerequisite for acceptance.

The world of The Winkles is filled with all things that fills this world but with a twist. There are superheros that might just surprise you. There are real life conflicts and real life solutions to these problems. And if you invest your imagination into The Winkles you’ll find yourself standing at the precipice of their doorway in search of comfort, acceptance, joy and hope you will find what you seek. Know I made this book, this series for those who are lost and need hope, those who are alone who need comfort and those who want adventure in a more simplistic manner that brings happiness, guidance and strength to those that want it.

WELCOME THE WINKLES

This is the year for the Winkles, a 32 page comic book that is only available in soft bound print. It is NOT produced digitally. The reason behind this as you know – things that are printed on paper and owned physically are more redeeming. Digitally produced options are for those far, far away that would require expensive mailing costs. Locally, The Winkles will be found around town here in Portland, Oregon, and I’ll have an online order form here at MuscleyManComics.com where you can purchase it directly with a valid address and payment thru Stripe or Paypal.
