Another Comic Book? Maybe

I wrote, published and produced The Winkles Meet The Neighbors. Yes it’s on sale now and available in person or online. But along came another one and I put it on the back burner while yet another one came to mind. Now I’m torn with what I should do. It has a great premise and a great message but now I’m a bit disillusioned and I’m going to put it off.

I’m an all or nothing guy. I’m all in or I’m all out. I get excited and then when I feel stepped on I just give up and move on. Writing my comic books should be exciting and a happy time but this is quickly becoming a fucking drag. And I can’t see myself pouring my heart and soul into something that’s just going to siphon my joy like a clogged sink.

So I’m going to jump back to The Winkles and give them my all and work on my First Muscleyman Comic and if an ounce of interest pops back in my head I’ll go back to the one I’m passing on. ‘Cause we stupid creatives get this way – we have great ideas – we have good intentions but we’re always shitted on just to make people happy and that’s not fair.

Oh well. Holy Spirit, I guess ask someone else.
