I’ve been playing this video game online called Tile Survive. It’s deplorable at best – brings out the absolute worst in the people who engage. Some claim it’s the best thing they’ve ever done with their lives while others you know they must feel some sort of neglect to believe they need this garbage to satisfy their competitive nature.
I digress. I joined the game for “fun” and received an entire 50pound garbage can filled with remorse, regret and angst over a “zombie game the entire family will enjoy“. To say that these individuals feel they’re accomplishing something remotely positive is a ruse. We systemically navigate a series of neuropathic puzzles aimed to keep us paying money to prolong our addiction. It’s an obsession – sign up for this – do that – be required to fulfill this and pretend anyone cares about the rankings and lack of rewards offered by the games developers. It’s lame and it makes someone money.
We’re volunteering our energy to satisfy a craving that occurs every day at 5pm Pacific Standard Time. We go thru the motions “Hello everyone I’m so happy to waste an entire evening on my phone playing this atrociously stupid game with all of you.” And for what? A gem? A kudos. A challenge that no one in the real world cares? Yes, Yes. And Yes.
So recently the war mongering degenerates of the state called the Happy Pirates – the group that drove many of my friends in game to quit or relocate was forced to merge with the lovely group of people I had willingly joined awhile ago. It happened almost overnight without a warning while I watched people get kicked out and kicked off to make room for them. Yeah, not happy about those choices but they were made, people were seemingly excited to get rid of the old just to welcome some of the filthiest people into our foll.
Great. Rankings started and people were shot down while these new installments took their places. Super wonderful for them and I can’t be any more disgusted. These war mongers who drove their own people away into other alliances and out of the state are now here and making their new plans – probably plans to take over or worse; plans to invite the same war back from their disastrous existence and into our camp.
So I acted irresponsible and called them the Filth that they are in State Chat and the reverberation for my actions was staggering. It hit them hard. They had words. They made it known. I was corrected so my individual player account quit the camp and it felt GREAT! Oh no – the adult infants were angry because I called them out for what they are and how they act : Calling someone “filth” is an extreme and deeply insulting expression that means you view a person as utterly disgusting and completely lacking in moral worth.
Let me back up. Why? What did they do to earn such a horrible insult? They waged war against the Russian alliance in the State and triangularized every single American player to win them into their court. They maliciously weaponized a good player to attack and demonize those players – players that had to sit in State Chat and listen to them insult them day in and day out for weeks. Every single time those American players would whine and complain that they were the victims they turned it around as they brutally insulted, harassed and abused the Russian players to the point I had over 30 screen prints to prove my point. It’s disgusting. It’s slanderous. It’s Filth!
And we inherited THAT into our alliance. But hey I’m the instigator. I’m the harasser. I’m the bad one. Wow. Sad. Anyway – why did the Americans treat the Russians in this manner – because those bad Russians were playing the game and the Americans didn’t like it. They wanted it their way – the way they’d been handed the reigns to play the game while they remained at the helm of the control. But once that control was compromised, challenged and won over by a superior group of people, suddenly the Americans were crybabies and well, the rest of us just watched in awe.
I hope that the Filth can clean up it’s act, but it won’t; Filth can’t be cleaned and washed away. No, it has to be thrown away and discarded for good. It’s the only way to get rid of it and at this point, It’s not going to leave. It will remain stuck in that good alliance as it slowly turns sour, bitter and regretful. But hey, it could we worse. It could be real life. And then there really would be only one way to get rid of it. (I can’t offer that solution as you know this is WordPress).
Be grateful you’re not Filth. Be grateful you don’t play that game. And be especially grateful we’re at the end of this ridiculously long expose on just another thing I have had to contend with in my life.
